1. Introduction

Welcome to FeelPlay ("the App"), a music player and playlist organizer. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our Android application, including data stored locally on your device and data transmitted to our servers and to third-party service providers. By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Data Stored Locally On Your Device

FeelPlay stores the following information locally on your device:

• Downloaded Music Files: Audio files you choose to download for offline listening
• Playlist Information: Custom playlists you create, including playlist names and organization
• Track Details: Metadata about songs (title, artist, duration, etc.)
• User Preferences: App settings, playback preferences, and interface customizations
• Playback History: Recently played tracks and listening history

2.2 Data Transmitted Off Your Device

To provide music search, related-track suggestions, and streaming functionality, the App transmits the following information to our backend service (feelplay.online) over an encrypted connection:

• Search queries you enter to find songs, artists, albums, and playlists
• Video/track identifiers for the songs you play, queue, or request related tracks for
• Playback and app activity such as the tracks you play and streams you request
• Basic device information including device model, operating system version, and app version

The App also transmits the following to Google Firebase (Realtime Database and related services) to support group listening features and analytics:

• In-app chat messages you send and receive during group listening sessions
• Your display name and group session identifiers
• Device or other identifiers such as Firebase installation identifiers used to operate the service
• Information about the apps installed on your device as collected by Google Play services and Firebase SDKs included in the App for service operation and improvement

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide music search, related-track suggestions, and streaming functionality
• Deliver group listening and in-app chat features
• Maintain your custom playlists and music library
• Remember your app preferences and settings
• Improve app performance, reliability, and user experience
• Provide personalized music recommendations

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell personal information.

4. Data Storage and Security

Data stored locally (downloaded music, playlists, preferences) remains on your device under your control. Data transmitted to our backend service and to Google Firebase is protected as follows:

• All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS)
• Data stored locally is protected by your device's security features
• Firebase data is stored and protected by Google's security measures in accordance with Google's applicable terms and policies

5. Data Sharing

FeelPlay does not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the App:

• Google Firebase — for group listening features (chat messages and session data), and service operation/analytics, as described in Section 2.2
• Our backend hosting provider — which operates the feelplay.online service used for search, related-track suggestions, and stream resolution

Your music library, playlists, and downloaded files remain private and are stored only on your device.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: You can view your playlists and downloaded content within the app
• Deletion: You can delete individual tracks, entire playlists, clear all app data, leave or delete group listening sessions, and delete your chat history
• Export: You can export your playlist information for backup purposes
• Control: You can manage storage permissions and data usage in your device settings

7. Children's Privacy

FeelPlay is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
